With more than 30 years of experience as a broadcaster in television and radio, Peter Ndoro is a familiar face and voice across Africa. He is currently an Anchor/Producer for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Channel Africa as well The BRICS Africa TV Channel
His media career has seen him work in Africa and abroad including a three-year stint as a news anchor/producer at BBC World Service in London. There he specialised in Pan-African news and current affairs.
Other assignments over the years have included anchoring business news programmes for CNBC Africa and Business Day TV. He also spent some years at SABC Africa anchoring their flagship pan-African breakfast news programme that broadcast across the continent.
Radio listeners have also heard his voice presenting programmes on Talk Radio 702, Highveld Stereo and SAfm in South Africa.
Peter is a trained accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) and graduated from the University of South Africa with a degree in accounting. Beyond broadcasting, Peter has worked in Finance, Accounting, Advertising, Marketing, Consulting and Business management. Peter has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management with Henley Business School
With his understanding of current affairs, particularly pan-African issues, and knowledge of business affairs he has become a sought-after Conference Facilitator, Master of Ceremonies and Programme Director both in South Africa and abroad. He has facilitated well over 300 events and functions across a number of continents.
