Pieter du Toit is a journalist with News24, where he is assistant editor for investigations.

He is the author of The Stellenbosch Mafia: Inside the Billionaire’s Club (2019), The ANC Billionaires: Big Capital’s Gambit and the Rise of the Few (2022), and Enemy of the People: How Jacob Zuma Stole South Africa, and How the People Fought Back (2017, with Adriaan Basson). He is a former parliamentary correspondent, and has interviewed every president since Thabo Mbeki. He is a regular contributor to radio and television.
