ROBBY’S STORY

A simple mistake at an indoor climbing gym almost cost Robby everything, including his life. The fall severely broke both of his ankles and put him in a wheelchair for almost a year. This began a downward spiral to absolute rock bottom, shadowed by depression and insurmountable debt pushing him to the brink of suicide.

Robby tells a story of finding a reason to live and his decision to chase a goal most would consider impossible. His 928 day odyssey, that would take Robby from the operating table to the summit of Mount Everest, is bolstered by awe-inspiring images and first-person footage from Everest’s Death Zone.
